Slice of Life is all about those fleeting moments we may barely notice but which have a twist of nostalgia woven into them. Someone walking past, a child taking a drink from a fountain, a dog napping in a sunbeam... I don't pretend to have the insights and instincts of the late and revered Henri Cartier Bresson, but I do admire his whimsical, stop-and-smell-the-roses approach to photographing the world.
